Chinese-Scottish Wedding Photography in Scotland
Celebrating Love, Culture & Beautiful Traditions
Are you planning a wedding that blends Chinese and Scottish cultures? I specialise in photographing multicultural weddings across Scotland—and I’d love to help tell your story.
Recently, I photographed a stunning Chinese-Scottish wedding nearCreebridge House Hotel, a charming country house in Newton Stewart, Dumfries and Galloway. Known for its beautiful gardens and riverside setting, this historic venue is perfect for romantic, personal weddings with a touch of elegance.
A Fusion Wedding to Remember
The day began with a church ceremony just minutes from the hotel. The groom wore traditional Scottish Highland dress, and the bride wore a classic white gown with delicate Chinese-inspired embroidery. After heartfelt vows, the couple celebrated their cultures with a reception in a marquee on the hotel grounds.
The marquee was decorated withred Chinese lanterns, gold symbols of happiness, and touches of tartan—creating a unique fusion of traditions. As night fell, the couple changed into traditional Chinese outfitsand danced beneath floating lanterns that lit up the dark sky. It was magical.
