The wedding I captured here inearly April felt like the perfect start to spring. Daffodils lined the drive, the air was fresh, and the hotel’s Victorian façade stood proudly against a backdrop of budding trees and Highland hills. It was the kind of day where you feel nature waking up—and the whole celebration had a gentle, happy energy to it.

Atholl Palace is every bit the Highland manor—full of character and dramatic touches. The impressive staircase, chandeliers, and panelled interiors make it feel classic and elegant, while the manicured gardens, woodland paths, and open lawns give couples plenty of space to relax and celebrate.
From a photography perspective, there’s so much to work with. We took portraits among the daffodils, framed romantic moments against the stonework and tall windows, and wandered up the path toward the woods for a more private feel. Whether you're indoors or out, the mix of architecture and landscape means your wedding album will be full of variety, beauty, and those little unscripted moments that matter most.
