Having photographed weddings across the whole of Scotlland, i honestly do not think any venue competes with Culzean Castle with respect to the combination of history, and a vast array of indoor and outdoor opportunities for photographs. From the spiral staircase, armoury, Round Room, Eisenhower Tower and more, it offers great space and lighting for a great array of photographs. Outdoors, there are stunning views across to the Isle of Arran, woodlands, ramparts, beaches and caves are all easily accessible too. Ceremonies have taken place on the main lawn, the Camelia House and Orangery. The staff have always been excellent in facilitating access to these locations and I have had the pleasure over the years of photographing many wedding and elopement ceremonies at Culzean Castle.

Although the incredible beauty of a Culzean Castle wedding is itself ample reason to choose it as a venue, there is of course at least one other very good reason for doing so, the grounds are under the curatorship of the National Trust for Scotland.
